About

Established in January 2011, Tropic Terrors is the first Roller Derby organization created in Puerto Rico.The main team of Tropic Terrors is Reckless Bandidas. After months of planning, recruiting, networking, and more planning, we started scrimmaging in September 24th 2011and we had our first regulated bout in October 22nd 2011 with Dixie Derby Girls. Tropic Terrors became Apprentice for WFTDA in July, 2012 and it's currently the only member in the island. We are playing our first season ever.
We are a non-profit corporation based in Carolina, Puerto Rico. All our skaters participate voluntarily and do not get paid to play.
